Kopacz | Bio
Vocalist/guitarist Karen Kopacz has been writing songs since 1985, from punk, post punk, and experimental to math rock, dream pop, stream of conscious pop and nightmare pop.
Kopacz writes dreamy, energetic pop songs where suffering and love collaborate. Her writing is in constant transformation; the themes explore the process of turning suffering into .... something else, perhaps gold or birds or bones in the earth. One constant in the music remains, the dark and light parts of self and humanity swirling around with the intent to come to some kind of understanding.
