About Sauce
Sauce Spirits & Soundbar features live music, a full bar, appetizers and entrees, and contemporary art with an opening reception to kick off each show. Exhibitions focus on local artists with occasional out-of-town artist spotlights.
  About the Curator
Karen Kopacz (Design for the Arts) is the founder and director of Mental Contagion, an online arts and literature journal featuring work and interviews with national/international artists and writers since 2000. Karen is curator of Reconnect: Mobile Art Gallery, and has been a graphic and Web designer for over 12 years, working with artists and creative businesses of all types.

About the Events

Opening Reception
Entry to the reception is free to the public; beverages, food and appetizers are available at happy hour or non-happy hour prices, dependent on time of reception. Guests are invited to stay for an afterparty. A cover charge may apply for entertainment.

Timeline
Exhibitions are quarterly, generally lasting 3 months.
  Installation
We know you have other commitments and will do our best to keep installation and de-installation dates and times in tact whenever possible. All artwork must be framed and ready to hang prior to installation.

Sale of Artwork

Curatorial Fee
A curatorial fee of 25% will be applied to all artwork sales. Please price artwork accordingly.
  Representation
Karen (Design for the Arts) works with artists as a career consultant and business strategist. All interest in purchase of artwork will be thoughtfully represented.

Word Out


Collectable Booklets
Limited-edition booklets are printed for each opening. Booklets include well-written informative bios or articles about participating artists and images of the artist and artwork. Designed to increase interest and awareness about artists and their work, collectable booklets are available for free at openings on a first-serve basis. Artists will receive at least one copy of the booklet and may reprint articles written by Karen with credit to Karen Kopacz and Design for the Arts.

Marketing
Shows are promoted via Sauce Website, press release, social media tools (FB and Twitter) and Sauce in-house calender.
  Price Sheets
Price sheets with artwork dimensions and work title will be listed in or accompany the booklet.



Sponsorship Opportunities

Financial Contribution
Participating in this unique project will position your company or organization as forward-thinking, artist-friendly and aware of local culture and trends. Financial contributions allow us to pay for the printing of limited-edition art booklets for each opening exhibit, and writing and photography within the booklets, whenever possible. Each publication will yield 100 limited-edition booklets or more (dependent on financial contribution amounts). This limited-edition publication is designed to help artists promote and sell their work, promote art exhibits at Sauce and educate readers about featured artists.

We accept a limited number of sponsors for each publication. This keeps a spotlight on featured content, and also ensures prime recognition for your sponsorship contribution.

Silver - $250
• Mention of your company or organization in all promotional media and press releases

Gold - $500
• Full color, half page ad in the limited-edition art booklet
• Mention of your company or organization in all promotional media and press releases

Platinum - $750
• Full color, half page ad in our limited-edition art booklet
• Mention of your company or organization in all promotional media and press releases

Media Trade
Media trades are available as an alternative to financial contributions. There are a limited number of media trades available for each run of limited-edition art booklets.

Policies

Insurance & Hanging Systems
We take great care in the installation of your work, using security hooks with a cable hanging system of up to 45 lbs per cable. If artwork that exceeds weight limitation, please notify installation manager in advance. Artwork installed at Sauce is insured for theft or damage for up to $25,000. In the event that an incident is not covered by the policy, no liability is assumed by Design for the Arts, Karen Kopacz or Sauce employees or customers.
